Crafty Gift!

Hello and happy almost 2014! Sarah here today with a gift box perfect for the crafty friend in your life!

I stamped the awesome subway style image from Paper, Scissors, Ink repeatedly on pink cardstock before turning it into a gift box. I wanted a tag with lots of punch, so adhered strips of leftover cardstock together before embossing the sentiment in white.

I cut my strips random widths, but love how it all worked out to highlight parts of the stamp!

Wishing you a fabulous, happy, healthy and VERY crafty 2014!

Sweet Baby!

Dear Fresh Squeezed friends!  It's Virginia here!  Today I am sharing a sweet baby card with you.  This design can be used as a birth announcement, baby shower or welcome baby card, tags, labels…  There are so many possibilities!

It was quick and fun to create this card.  All you do is find a few pieces of scrap pattern paper and stamp the baby subway art from Subway Series: Occasions on it and then add pink buttons and ribbons. To add a bit of homespun feel to this card, I added faux stitching at the top of the image panel.  Basically, you use a ruler and pierce holes at even intervals and then connect the dots.  It's such an easy way to add interest to your project!

Subway Series: Occasions

Before I go, I want to thank you for your visits and comments these past few months. They mean so much to me!  I know Shannon and Ryann have LOTS planned in 2014!  I am looking forward to sharing more FSS goodness!  Thanks for stopping by!  -Virginia

Best Wishes for 2014!

Hello Fresh Squeezed Fans!  Katie Gehring here to share a colorful card I made for celebrating 2014. Every year, we ring in the New Year at our friend's house and I love being able to give our hosts a special New Year card.

First, I used the ray from Weather Through to stamp a colorful sunburst on white cardstock.  I matted the stamped panel with black cardstock and adhered it to a white cardstock base.  Next, using Take a Number, I stamped 2014 on a circle I punched from white cardstock, matted it on black cardstock and adhered it to the card.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from Inside Scoop: Holiday on the bottom of the card front.

Well, that's all for me today!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a safe and very happy start to your New Year!   -Katie

A Tennis Shoe Christmas

Happy Friday everyone!  It's Kim!  I know you're probably all done with thinking about Christmas so I really shouldn't be posting a Christmas card today.  But Fresh Squeezed Stamps came to my rescue on the 24th and I wanted to share.

We had planned to give my 13-year old son his pick of basketball shoes for Christmas. This is somewhat different from our usual approach in which he wants the most expensive and we refuse to buy anything but the cheapest!!  His gift was to pick out his own (within reason) without us complaining about the price!  As I was finishing up on Christmas Eve it occurred to me that he wouldn't have anything from us under the tree because he would have to go shopping for his own shoes after Christmas.  He's still so young - I HAD to have something for him to open up.  Fresh Squeezed and their cute tennis shoe from String Me Along came to the rescue!!

If you knew my 13-year old son, you would understand why I also HAD to include the "nice 2b naughty" graphic from Hello December!  (BTW - if you like the idea but not for Christmas, On Trend 2013 has a great birthday word bubble that could replace the "naughty" circle!  That set is also where I got the swoosh that I used for the ground.)

On Trend 2013                           Hello December

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and are now looking forward to the new year!!

You are FABULOUS!

Hi everyone!  Lesley here with you today.  This is the time of year a teacher has many special people to thank!  I have such awesome volunteers and co-workers who work with me and help me everyday.  It is nice to create a special card for them, especially this time of year!

There is one gal in particular who has gone above and beyond. So I went to work with my favorite stamp sets Hot, Hot, Hot and Take a Number. I just love the pretty font and the teacup is so much fun to paper piece!

Merry Christmas, Fresh Squeezed Stamps Fans!

Merry Christmas… the day we've all planned and prepared for is here!  Stacey here with a special birthday card!  My sister-in-law will be turning the big 5-0 next month, so I whipped up this festive birthday card in gold (and black), of course!

I used the sentiment and numbers from Take a Number and star from Friendly Folk.  To keep the "over the hill" look with black and gold, but jazz up the card for my sweet SIL, I used some fabulous glittered cardstock, added some loopy twine, and sprinkled on some shiny round and star shaped sequins.

Hope your day is full of fun and festivities… and that you have a chance to get a little crafty when things wind down  :)  Merry Christmas to you and yours! -Stacey

Get Your Elf On!

Merry Christmas everyone!  Sarah here and as you read this, it's already Christmas Day here in New Zealand!  I'm sharing one last Christmas project today, these tags could easily be adapted for Valentine's Day or any other occasion - unless you want to get started on your Christmas list for next year?!

I needed a LOT of gift tags this year. Hello December and Holiday Tag Alongs to the rescue! When I'm mass producing, I turn to my old trusty punches, rather than cranking the die cut machine. I stamped a full sheet of the elf sentiment, then punched them all at once. The tag is just a rectangle with a quick strip of washi tape and a scallop punched edge.

I stamped the date directly on the washi tape using Staz On ink. The To: and From: were also stamped with Staz On just to simplify things. A little gold cord bow finished off the tags! These really pop against the red and white wrapping I've used this year. A little handmade makes everyone feel extra special!

       Hello December                         Holiday Tag Alongs

Did you mass produce this year? I'd love to hear your tips for getting through your holiday crafting list quickly! Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!!

Hugs, Sarah

Quick Tags!

Hello, Fresh Squeezed friends! It's Virginia here with a quick post! Crunch time is approaching... Christmas is almost here! If you are in need of some quick tags for last minute presents, here is what I do!

Get out some patterned paper and make some die cut or punched tags and then stamp! You could also just cut the stamped labels without adhering them to the die cut. It's quick and easy and sure to dress up those gifts under the tree!

A Wee Christmas and Holiday Tag Alongs are perfect sets to complete the job!

Hope this quick post helps! Thanks for stopping by!   -Virginia

Graphic Santa

Hello Fresh Squeezed fans!  Katie Gehring here to share another clean and simple Christmas card idea.  You may have heard of a little movie from a few years ago called Bad Santa.  Well, let me introduce you to Graphic Santa.  While Bad Santa wasn't very nice, Graphic Santa is graphic, but in a good way.

For this clean and graphic card, I incorporated some color blocking by heat embossing the bottom portion of the Hey Santa button from Hello December in white onto red cardstock and lined it up with the image stamped with red ink on white cardstock.  A bit of baker's twine and matting the tilted panel with black cardstock helps to draw out the contrast between the red and white.

Hello December

This card makes great use of scraps of red cardstock which may be floating around your craft table this time of year, plus it's practically flat for easy mailing. Well that's all for me today!  Thanks for stopping by!   -Katie

Merry & Bright Wishes from Twin Polar Bears!

Happy Friday!  It's Kim!  I hadn't used the bear yet from Arctic Friends.  As I was pondering what to do with this cute stamp, I was remembering twin polar bears born almost 20-years ago in my local zoo.  Their mother abandoned them, but zoo staff successfully raised them.  It was quite an experience for the entire city - we all stood in line to see them, books were written about them - they were famous!  These stamps aren't quite as cute as the real baby cubs - but pretty darn close!!

The Merry and Bright sentiment bubbles come from Hello December.

Have a happy weekend - hope you can find some crafting time during the busy holiday season!!   -Kim

Happiest of Birthdays!

Hello everyone! Lesley here!  Today I am sharing a 40th birthday card.  I used some pretty colors - pink, red and green.  I wanted to keep my card fairly clean & layered...with the flower being the main focus.

I've used Everyday Expressions for the birthday sentiment and the 4 and 0 numbers from Take a Number.
